Genee is a B Corp certified environmental sustainability consultancy created to support organisations of all types and sizes become ready for a zero-carbon economy.
We do this by supporting organisations of all sizes and sectors to reduce their environmental impact and realise the many benefits of integrating sustainability into business practices.
The team believe using the national standard Investors in the Environment is a great way to achieve this and we are delighted to be the Northern delivery partners.
Being a certified B Corp means we’ve joined brands like The Guardian, Innocent and Patagonia in meeting high standards of environmental and social performance..
OUR MISSION
Genee Consulting Ltd is an Environmental Consultancy based in the North East, working with clients from all sectors to reduce their environmental impacts. At genee, we believe everyone has the power to shape a more sustainable future. Our job is to illuminate the path for organisations, making sustainability accessible and providing clarity to ensure a successful sustainability journey.
We are passionate about making sure sustainability not only works for the environment, but for our communities and the economy too. We take this into consideration when partnering with projects, to ensure that a move towards a green economy supports our local communities and the re-skilling of workers so no one is left behind.

Protecting our natural environment - we engage with a range of organisations to help them discover how they can minimise their environmental impact. We also apply this to our own organisational impact, managing resources as high up the waste hierarchy as possible.
Community at the centre - we aim to deliver our services in a way which creates maximum benefit for the North East and North West and the communities within each region. We create opportunities for organisations of all sizes to work with us towards sustainability, and take on projects through which knowledge can trickle down from the organisations to the communities they work within.
