The Meadows - Investors in the Environment Journey

The Meadows have been working with Genee through the Investors in the Environment (iiE) programme for just over three years, joining through the Going Green Together initiative, which provided subsidised sustainability support to the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE).

When they began on the Going Green Together programme, they went by Meadow Well Connected, and they were the first organisation in their cohort to go for audit. They astounded us by achieving Silver accreditation within their first year. You can read more about their accreditation here.

As applications for the second phase of Going Green Together are now open, it is lovely to hear The Meadows reflect on their journey with Investors in the Environment, and how they continue to develop their environmental management.

Like every organisation, they have had personnel and operational changes, but their commitment to reducing their environmental impact has remained. Watch their Facility Coordinator, Paul, discuss this below.
