Genee Consulting Ltd Expands into the North West

Genee Consulting Ltd, a B Corp certified Environmental Consultancy, is proud to announce its expansion into the North West of England. Building upon its established role as the North East Hub for the nationally recognised environmental accreditation programme, Investors in the Environment (iiE), Genee now serves as the Northern Hub, extending its reach and impact across the region. 

This strategic expansion enables Genee to support a broader range of organisations in their journey towards sustainability, providing them with the tools and guidance necessary to reduce environmental impacts and achieve iiE accreditation. The iiE programme offers a structured approach to sustainability, helping businesses identify cost-saving opportunities while meeting increasing demands for environmental accountability from customers, suppliers, and tender applications.

With iiE’s bronze, silver and green accreditation levels, businesses can progress at a pace that suits them, implementing tangible improvements along the way. This step-by-step approach allows you to gradually integrate sustainability into your operations, ensuring that every change delivers measurable value, and the tools and templates provided by iiE ensure that your organisation is never starting this work with a blank sheet of paper.

In addition to expanding the iiE programme, Genee has launched the North West Resources Forum (NWRF), a new initiative aimed at fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the waste and resources sector in the North West. The NWRF brings together waste professionals from local authorities, private sector companies, and third-sector organisations to discuss best practices, regulatory insights, and innovative solutions. The inaugural meeting took place on 29th April at the Renew Hub in Greater Manchester.

Genee is currently working with a number of organisations in the North West, notably Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, whose commitment to sustainability and robust environmental management system landed them with not only Green Accreditation but also the Overall Outstanding Achiever (Large Business) at the Annual iiE Awards in November.
